Pattern Welded Longclaw

This sword has a pattern welded, tripple fullered blade made of 1080/15n20/80CrV2 steel which has been hardened and tempered. The guard, pommel, and grip ring are sculptural quality silicon bronze. The grip is a wood core with leather wrap. The scabbard has a wood core with leather covering and bronze chape, collar, and locket along with bronze buckles and belt end.

  This sword was a custom commission and is not available. A similar sword could be made for $4500. A scabbard with suspension system would be an additional $1700. The sword could be made with a monosteel blade rather than pattern welded which would be $3400 - $3700 depending on the type of fullers.
